Wayne has been teaching golf for nearly 40 years. He has been the Head Golf Pro at Van Nuys Golf Course since 1997.
He is very passionate about teaching, and will take the time to work with each student to achieve the goals they have for the game.
How it all started:
When I was 7 years old I started to play golf at Van Nuys Golf Course. It is ironic that after all these years I am back at the facility as the Head Golf Pro.
I studied at California State University Northridge on a full golf scholarship. I was “An All American” for two years and played in the NCAA Division II National Championship. After graduating CSUN in 1989 I started my teaching career at North Ranch Country Club. I have been a “Class A’ PGA member since 1995 and have been working as the Head Pro at Van Nuys since 1997.
When I am not at the golf course teaching or playing golf myself, I love to spend time with my family biking, skiing, and doing other outdoor activities.
